I remembered that the Captain had experimented with creating an old school Lomo effect so she sent me a link to a tutorial site to create my own. You can find the tutorial here it was really simple to follow and I found that it works quite well for certain pictures but not all of them.
I couldn’t quite get over the intensity of the colours with the lomo effect it really seems to pop off of the page.
