I went along to Hampton Court last weekend to test out my new tripod and new 70-300mm lens. Unfortunately i happened to go on the hottest weekend and carrying a tripod, 4 lenses and the camera was not the brightest idea. So didn’t get as many pictures as i would have hoped for. Did happen to get one very lovely panorama which stitched really well and with the new tripod it’s much straighter than anything i’ve done before. The second one i’m going to pop up a cropped version because of the wooden planks it needs a few more hours to get it stitched right.

I produced quite a few of these back in my second year of uni but haven’t done another one since. I came across the tutorial today and thought oooo i loved doing these. So expect to see more in the near future.

Ok a little off topic compared to my normal posts but i had to share this. My mum’s friend had a baby just after christmas and we helped them out with their little boy. The doorbell went today and here these awesome cupcakes were as a thank you for our help.

Ok so these are very late but i had some stuff i was dealing with in November and then christmas was just around the corner. Also I managed to get a pesky lamp post in a few of my shots and couldn’t figure out how to get rid of it. Recently i started looking into creating HDR images which hasn’t worked out so great at the moment but it did finally teach me about the power of curves used right. I realised this was exactly what i needed with my firework images and here are the results.

Couldn’t resist grabbing the camera and taking a few pictures in the back garden. Slightly too cold for me and my asthma at the moment to venture any further. The fifth and last one are my absolute favourites.
